They are equipped with vertical multistage pumps and come in arrangements of 2 to 5 pumps. The integrated controls allow for superior performance and energy efficiency across broad operating envelopes. Most suitable for applications where energy consumption and low maintenance are critical, installation space comes at a premium, and occupant comfort is a high priority.
The Horizontal Split-Case (HSC) FirePak offering features the full range of Armstrong HSC fire pumps, electric or diesel-driven, and controller. All mounted, piped, and wired on a base at the factory.
The Armstrong Vertical In-line (VIL) FirePak line features the full range of VIL fire pumps with electric motor and controller. All mounted, piped, and wired on a base at the factory. The complete package is designed to fit through a standard door.
Armstrong Horizontal Split-case (HSC) fire pumps deploy a tilted parting design, with the casing of each pump split at a 15° angle. This maximizes efficiency by minimizing turbulence at the impeller eye. The angled split also keeps suction and discharge centerlines fully aligned – allowing for easy pre-piping on site.
The Armstrong 4600 horizontal split-case (HSC) double suction pumps are base mounted and engineered to substantially reduce cost over rival designs across installation, operation, and lifetime maintenance. High-efficiency NEMA-premium motors ensure low energy consumption and cost.
