  • Summary
  • Applications

HVAC system pumping; general purpose pumping; industrial/process pumping (water or glycol based)

  • Description

Pipe-mounted 2-pump unit with integrated intelligent controls for space-saving installation, superior energy performance, and parallel-pumping or full redundancy operation. Saves up to 75% in energy over comparable traditional constant speed or variable speed operated pump installations.

  • Materials
    • E-coated cast iron
    • 316 stainless steel impeller
    • Sintered silicon carbide mechanical seal
  • Configuration

On-board Intelligent Variable Speed controls with Sensorless or Parallel Sensorless control. Controls enclosure UL Type 12 or UL Type 4X (outdoor applications). Available with Ultra Premium Efficiency (IE5) motors. Outside balanced mechanical seal

  • Performance range

Up to 2,000 USgpm (126L/s) parallel flow and 180 ft head (55m)

  • Temperature

    250°F (121°C)

  • Power Range

15 hp to 40 hp (11 kW to 30 kW)

  • Size

    4” (100 mm)

Lowest installed cost

  • Dual pump vertical in-line’s features the most compact design, and eliminates the need for inertia bases, housekeeping pads, and flex connectors, and reduces one set of pipe risers and pump trim
  • Integrated intelligent controls eliminate separate mounting of variable frequency drive (VFD) as well as procurement, installation (incl. wiring), calibration and upkeep of differential pressure sensor
  • Design Envelope selections with DEPM motors frequently allow a smaller motor and/or pump size, which reduces capital equipment cost

Pump Models Designed and Engineered for Outdoor Operation

Controls enclosure rated for UL type 4x. Equipped with overhead weather shield to prevent icing in cold weather or overheating in direct sunlight.

Lowest operating cost

  • Enhanced hydraulic design and DEPM motors with Ultra-Premium (IE5) Efficiency for lower operating costsExceptional in high turndown applications
  • Integrated intelligent controls – combined with perfect component match-up and tuning – for up to 75% in energy savings over traditional constant speed and variable frequency operated pump installations
  • Standard with Parallel Sensorless control to provide best-efficiency staging of both pumps for additional energy savings
Design Envelope

Lowest installed cost. Lowest operating cost.

Enhanced Serviceability and No Downtime

  • Integrated isolation valves on suction and discharge allows either pump end to be serviced with no downtime
  • Overhead lifting eyes facilitate pump ends with integrated controls to be removed for service

Lowest Environmental Cost

  • Embodied carbon is up to 85% less than conventional 2-pump, end suction installations.  This comes from smaller equipment sizes, and elimination of inertia bases, housekeeping pads, and second set of flex connectors, piping risers, and trim
  • Operating carbon is significantly reduced through energy savings, and from Active Performance Management with self-diagnostic capability, enabling sustained product life
  • Integrated design packs and ships more economically for less packaging waste compared to loose component shipping and assembly
