    Armstrong’s The CDUm is designed to decouple the primary and secondary side between the chilled water source and the data center rack. The primary side will be standard materials and the secondary (rack) side is typically SS to maintain cleanliness for the server racks

  • Materials

    Carbon steel is fine for the primary loop and stainless is recommended for the secondary loopHE and Expansion Tank are SS, piping must be SS or similar material 

  • Configuration

    The CDUm is typically going to be configured in standard sizes on a skid to be dropped inside right next to the rack

  • Performance range

    1F, 2F, 3F, 4F approach temperatures

  • Temperature

    TBD, but fine for standard chilled water and hot water applications 

  • Power Range

    575/3/60; 460/3/60; 230/3/60; 208/3/60 (50hz available upon request) 

  • Size

    800kW, 1.2MW, 1.5MW, 2MW standard size ranges

Controls enclosure rated for UL type 4x. Equipped with overhead weather shield to prevent icing in cold weather or overheating in direct sunlight.
