Armstrong’s The CDUm is designed to decouple the primary and secondary side between the chilled water source and the data center rack. The primary side will be standard materials and the secondary (rack) side is typically SS to maintain cleanliness for the server racks
Carbon steel is fine for the primary loop and stainless is recommended for the secondary loop. HE and Expansion Tank are SS, piping must be SS or similar material
The CDUm is typically going to be configured in standard sizes on a skid to be dropped inside right next to the rack
1F, 2F, 3F, 4F approach temperatures
TBD, but fine for standard chilled water and hot water applications
