The Interco reconciliation specialist will be responsible for assisting Global Finance and control team by ensuring all intercompany transactions/balances are reconciled monthwise. Additional responsibilities will include taking ownership on transacting certain Month end transactions like interco Royalty, licence and insurance fee and other sharing costs between various Armstrong companies. Also the specialist is expected to ensure assisting various other global activities which will be assigned from time to time.

This position is located in Bangalore, India

In addition to annual initiatives, the key accountabilities of this position are:

Job Accountability

  • Complete Inter company reconciliation activities between Armstrong companies Monthly/Yearly.
  • Notifying variances appropriately to all finance heads and ensuring zero difference between companies.
    • Assisting timely closure of books for all companies and during global Audit.
    • Ensuring generation of Invoices for various group companies as required.
    • Publish various reports including AP/AR/Accrued AP etc timely and as required.
    • Intercompany Balance tie out – Month and year end.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in accountancy or equivalent.
  • Additional qualifications Like MBA finance is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years combined experience in accounting, reconciliation, AP/AR Processing, reconciliations.
  • Experience in Financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
  • PC literate; emphasis on Microsoft Suite products. High level of proficiency with MS Excel including the ability to extract, analyze and interpret large amounts of data from multiple systems.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Flexible and able to prioritize tasks.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with high credibility at all levels of the organization
  • Must demonstrate flexibility, strong commitment to meeting deadlines, and solid decision-making skills
  • Self-motivator with ability to work independently
