This position is located at Bangalore, India.

In addition to annual initiatives, the key accountabilities of this position are:

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design panels and wiring systems to IEC requirements and any related standards applicable in Europe, Middle east and Asia plus NEC, CE code, UL/CSA part 2 product standards.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Industrial standards principles, general practices and Industrial regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Conducting functional, performance, and reliability tests on VFD systems, Motors, Electronic board, Display cards and panels to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
  • Extensive experience in conducting hardware verification and validation processes.
  • Should offer technical assistance to address queries raised by the application team, sales department, and customers.
  • Responsible for electrical drawing and reviewing the schematics of current and new projects.
  • Investigation on new products, components, and instrumentation for current and new projects.
  • Support team on verification of the performance of electrical components and final integrated set up.
  • Providing engineering reports and reviewing them.
  • Follow up on evaluation, testing, meetings for the process of current projects.
  • Conduct technical investigation and simulation of mainly electric motor, drive, and hardware components (their interface and communication).
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures for electrical systems and components.
  • Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality control procedures.
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure that quality requirements are met.
  • Provide technical support to the manufacturing and production team to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Support the investigation and documentation of customer issues related to product quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completed University degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 3-4years design experience working with Electrical Design Engineer, BOM preparation, suitable hardware selection, customer support, and distribution operations in an industrial environment.
  • Background in Testing of EMC/EMI of Hardware components and VFDs, electrical machines and drives, mechanical, or hardware engineering.
  • Knowledge of Pumps, HVAC, electrical and automated systems an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and techniques
  • Experience with electrical systems and components including Controls and Automation
  • Ability to plan and manage a varied workload and have a pro-active and flexible attitude.
  • Ability to break down complex problems in a simplified way, conduct root cause analysis and provide clear, well-thought-out recommendations.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively and focus on results.
  • Ability to communicate in an open and authentic manner in all situations.
  • Understanding the testing process from global team members
  • Preparing the internal testing procedures
  • Review and check the components list and procure necessary items.
  • Conduct the testing and submit the test results.
  • Analyze the results and share the report with the team.
  • Finally training the manufacturing and service team to get feedback.
