Pay Rate: $21.00+ per hour

Job Summary:                    

We are seeking an experienced Material Handler with proven experience as a Yard Driver and in loading flatbed trailers to join our logistics team. This role requires hands-on experience operating yard driver equipment and comprehensive knowledge of flatbed loading and securement procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for moving materials and operating specialized yard equipment while following all safety and company guidelines.

Specific Duties/Essential Functions:

• Follow 5S methodology (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to maintain an organized, efficient, and safe work environment
• Operate yard driver equipment to move trailers within the facility yard
• Load and secure materials onto flatbed trailers according to DOT regulations and company standards
• Move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
• Coordinate with drivers and logistics team to ensure timely loading and dispatch
• Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping documentation
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing incoming materials
• Ensure proper load distribution and weight limits are maintained
• Performs additional tasks and responsibilities, as needed, to support team and business objectives

Role Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
• No record of  citation or conviction for any serious traffic violation or license suspension in the previous 36 months
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of yard driver experience
• At least 1 year of flatbed trailer loading experience
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must be able to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs. May occasionally lift over 50 lbs., where employee assistance is required
• Able to do basic computer tasks
• Knowledge of operating other warehouse machinery
