Position Summary

Technical Sales Representative, Fire, Plumbing and Service Dealers

Job Summary:

Responsible for all facets of sale of Company Fire, Plumbing and parts / products outside of the Greater Toronto Area. The successful incumbent will help drive sales and service strategies through contractor and service dealers thereby achieving personal and Fire and Plumbing Cluster objectives. Assists in the development of customer support policies and practices to achieve “best in industry” capabilities.

Essential Functions:

  1. Coordinates all fire and plumbing sales. Additional territory and scope may be added at Company’s discretion.
  2. Grow the Service and Parts business in the territory, in conjunction with Plan/budget numbers assigned and targeting the customer list provided
  3. Assist customers and other Company sales staff with system product problems by providing value added solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  4. Responsible for co-ordination of product start-up with Company Service Department and local service support per applicable local fire and building codes.

  7. Maintains customer, service network, competitor records, and participates in Sales Planning Sessions. Provides guidance on all service/ application/ warranty issues involving sales, marketing, or service department as requested.
  8. Measures and reports daily/quarterly/annual reports as required by management.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Analyzes and reports customer feedback for continuous market share improvement.
  2. Fire and plumbing sales/quotation responsibility for territory. Supports special projects as assigned by management.
  3. Produces bi-weekly market activity reports, based on actuals including using tools provided

Experience and Background:

  1. Minimum 6 years’ experience in an industry related service or sales.

Marketing Manager – Pump Products

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Configured Building Equipment, Customer Solution Group, the incumbent develops and implements strategic direction and product portfolio such that the Pump teams exceed growth, sales and profit objectives as stated in the Company’s annual Budget and long range plans. The incumbent leads the Pump product portfolio on a global basis and, through interaction with sister divisions and customers, establishes the priorities of product development and new product launches.

Principal Responsibilities

  1. Develops the Pump Products portfolio and strategy to support sales and profit in conjunction with pump specialists in other company locations
  2.  Sets objectives; supervises, directly and indirectly, the development and implementation of the strategy.

Position Summary

We are looking for a high calibre individual with previous experience in industrial products/systems, preferably from the HVAC or Building Controls industry with prior experience in Sales in South East Asia (SEA) countries.  This is a newly created position in Asia to capitalize on the market growth potential for Armstrong in the Systems Business in fluid management in HVAC applications in commercial buildings.

The individual will be responsible for growing the Armstrong’s Systems Business in SEA with sales in selected market segments and the appointment of right channel partners in SEA. Target market coverage in South East Asia are: Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia.

The individual will undergo intensive and hands-on training in China and other appropriate facilities of Armstrong. Key responsibilities
  • Execute the sales strategy for key SEA markets and segments to achieve the annual budget for bookings, sales, margins and specific Armstrong metrics

Aftermarket Sales Engineer - China Mining

China

Main Purpose of the Role

To work within the mining sales team and to contribute strongly to the pre-sales, sales and contract execution process for aftermarket sales & services. On top of the requirement of networking with a range of internal and external stakeholders and implementing sales strategies, this position will also need to actively involving in updating the mining database to capture the missing M&K and overhaul sales opportunity and provide valuable information in appropriate format to management team as required.

The role can be based in coal mining areas/Beijing/Xian, but will require to travel to other locations in China where RMI products are being marketed and/or sold. And Armstrong facilities, agent offices or customer sites within China as instructed by the line manager.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Build project pipeline for service program sales based on RMI pump installation and service time
  • Obtain information from mining customers for forecast purpose
  • Provide monthly demand forecast to give advice to build inventory in China
  • Develop and execute strategies for Service Modules & Kits and Service Program for China mining segment.
  • Meet or exceed the annual sales target for Service Modules & Kits and Service Program approved by line manager
  • Execute key account strategy

Main Purpose of the Role

Position Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for developing, interpreting and implementing complex financial models and accounting concepts or techniques for financial planning and control. Additional responsibilities will include conducting studies to analyze complex financial actions and prepare recommendations for policy, procedure, control or action, analysis of financial information to determine present and future financial performance, identification of trends and recommendations for according improvements, provide interpretation of financial policies, governmental legislation, accounting theory or customer financial regulations, evaluate complex profit plans, operating records and financial statements. Energy Service Engineer

Position Summary

As an Energy Service Engineer you will be reporting to the Team Leader Performance Management Services, the Energy Services Engineer performs duties related to proactive performance management services of connected Armstrong products and systems. 

Some Key Responsibilities

This includes responding to exception reporting of products requiring service or remote diagnostics and the generation and distribution of reports to customers with plant optimization technology and services from Armstrong. The position will be in a matrix role inside the Building Services department and will be expected to interact regularly with staff in Toronto and to accept specific feedback and direction on customer facing reports. In turn, they will be encouraged to provide their thoughts on streamlining processes and/or improving the reports and overall customer experience.

The candidate will play a key role in providing post installation services to our global customer base as part of Building Services, including the reporting component of the ECO*Pulse TM HVAC Health Management service and/or related diagnostic and analytical services.

Specifically, this Engineer will:

  • Extract data from Armstrong’s Design Envelope products, plant control systems and other applicable systems via web connection.
  • Prepare the trend and energy summaries
  • Analyze the data and identify anomalies in individual product or plant behaviour
  • Prepare recommendations for optimizing the efficiency of individual products or the building systems being monitored. 

This position is expected to grow into an expanded role to include additional technical support and be part of small but growing team with niche expertise in performance management, remote diagnostics and building analytics.

The individual(s) must apply his/her proven ability to understand central plant HVAC systems, process large amounts of data and identify root cause(s) of issues.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Manager, Building Services, the Team Leader, Performance Management Services performs duties related to leading the local team in Bangalore for proactive performance management services of connected Armstrong products and systems.

Some Key Responsibilities

This includes team response for exception reporting of products requiring service or remote diagnostics and the generation and distribution of reports to customers with plant optimization technology and services from Armstrong. The position will be in a matrix role inside the Building Services department with direct reporting to the Manager, Building Services and dotted line to the Services Manager, India. The incumbent will be expected to interact regularly with staff in Toronto and to accept specific feedback and direction on customer facing reports. In turn, they will be encouraged to provide their thoughts on streamlining processes and/or improving the reports and overall customer experience.

The incumbent will play a key role in providing post installation services to our global customer base as part of Building Services, including the reporting component of the ECO*PulseTM HVAC Health Management service and/or related diagnostic and analytical services.

Specifically this team leader will:

  • Lead the local performance management services team in Bangalore to meet company objectives for performance management services
  • Extract data from Armstrong’s Design Envelope products, plant control systems and other applicable systems via web connection.
  • Prepare the trend and energy summaries
  • Analyze the data and identify anomalies in individual product or plant behaviour

Main Purpose of the Role

To work within the overall Engineering Team and to contribute strongly to the design, development, programming, pre-sales and support of new and existing products and systems with an emphasis on Mining and Industrial applications, such as the Oil and Gas market.

To be responsible for the automated test rigs at the Manchester facility

The role is based in Manchester, but will require travel to other countries where RMI product is being marketed and/or sold. 

Principal Accountabilities

The design of electrical and control systems for new and existing products and systems. Constantly review the market for new and improved controls and instruments appropriate for our products and development.

Essential Experience  

  • Associated electronic / electrical controls and design
  • Good application knowledge of PLC-based control systems. Siemens and Allen Bradley preferred
  • Good knowledge of commonly-used communication protocols, in particular Industrial Ethernet.
  • Extensive industrial experience with high pressure equipment
  • Electrical Design experience using at a minimum AutoCAD, but preferably an electrical design package - ideally Solid Works Electrical.
  • Control panel design including component specification.
  • Creation of bill of materials
  • Knowledge of Variable Speed Drive technologies and applications, ideally up to 500 kW. Siemens, Danfoss and Allen Bradley preferred

Desirable Experience
